Random box depalletising with MotoSight 3D Spatial Vision and the high-performance MOTOMAN MH50 6-axis robot from YASKAWA. Now companies can automate depalletising boxes that are randomly positioned on a pallet. Used in box moving applications, MotoSight 3D Spatial Vision moves boxes ranging in size from 150 mm to 600 mm placed at random locations at a rate up to 12 boxes per minute. The system uses Logitech 9000 webcams and a Microsoft® Kinect sensor. GigE cameras and improved optics can be used when higher accuracy is required. MotoSight 3D Spatial Vision is powered by Universal Robotics’ Spatial Vision™ Robotics software. Benefits: Robotic automation provides increased productivity Vision system reduces cost where customers would otherwise need to invest in hard automation Excellent integration between robot and vision system delivers easy of use and reduced installation time
